Competition Terms and Conditions

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, TalkBox. Entrants completely release TalkBox from any and all liability in connection with this promotion. You are providing your information solely to Lord of the Fries (“Promoter”) for the purposes of this competition.

Who May Enter:

  1. Entry to the Competition is open to all Australian residents who are subscribed to the Lord of the Fries eDM, ‘The Sauce’.
  2. Employees of the promoter, family of employees and any person associated with the Competition, and any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s), are not eligible to enter.
  3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  4. Entry into the Competition is free.

Entry:

The Competition opens Thursday 18th April 2019 at 2:00pm AEST and closes Friday 3rd May 2019 at 5:00pm AEST.

Any entries received after this time will not be valid. To be entered into the competition you must be subscribed to the Lord of the Fries eDM, ‘The Sauce’ and email marketing@lordofthefries.com.au to tell us the burger you’d like to see exist by the year 2040. Valid entries must be received via the marketing email address provided. Each entrant must live in Australia and be able to access the prize (via post) or their entry will be deemed invalid.

Prize:

The winner will be the best entry as determined by the marketing team in its sole discretion, based on the creativity of all valid entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility if the prize winner’s contact details are incorrect or incomplete and/or the prize winner cannot be contacted.

Judging will occur on Monday 6th May 2019.

The prize includes the following, entitling five winners to double passes to view the film ‘2040’ at a cinema of their choice. This can only be redeemed at cinemas showing the film excluding Gold Class and Vmax screenings. This can be redeemed at a time / date of winners’ choice until cinema screening of ‘2040’ ceases. This may vary depending on the individual cinema.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash or any other service provided by

The Promoter. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.

The prize must be redeemed via direct email marketing@lordofthefries.com.au by the 13th May 2019 and The Promoter will send the winners the double passes via post by the 20th May.

Prize Awarding:

Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. The name of the prize winner will be published in the Lord of the Fries February edition of the eDM and notified via email.

If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter’s conduct of the Competition or the Promoter’s ability to deliver the prize/s to the prize winner/s of the Competition, the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same or similar conditions or select another winner.

Exclusion of liability:

To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether director consequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize.

Disqualification:

The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

Privacy:

The Promoter will treat personal information with the strictest of confidence and will only disclose personal information to the operators of the Competition (and not to TalkBox) for the handling of the Competition, processing of applications and delivering prizes or where disclosure is requires by law or in accordance with any consent provided.
